Seven Sisters at Wakula
One day as the Seven Sisters were traveling across the country a great wind arose, and it was so strong that it lifted up one of the sisters and carried her to country South of Warburton, to a place called Tjuntjuntjarra. The other Sisters followed her and finally found her, after which they all returned to Wakula together, where they pushed a great dancing stick into the ground and made the rock hole for water. Wakula is very sacred to Ngaanyatjarra people and many Women’s Laws and ceremonies were given by the Seven Sisters there.
