Kungkarrangkalpa

This painting of the Seven Sisters in shows the Dreaming songline in the Wanarn area, north of Warburton Ranges. Here the Sisters are traveling across the country pursued relentlessly by the old Magician, Yula, by turns hiding and conducting ceremonies and giving Women’s Law. Wanarn is the artist's mother's birth-country. The design shows many parts of the story, like trees and hills and other parts of the Creation Story in the landscape.
